Isn't she beautiful? Just absolutely stunning? The helmet's not mine, and neither is the bell, and I'm going to replace the wicker basket with this lacy number, but I just couldn't wait to show you my new girl! I know, I'm like a giddy 1950s school boy who just scored his first date :)

My beloved bike was stolen yesterday, between 7-10:30pm, on W. 20th, just west of 7th Ave. in NYC. Looks just like the photo, but with a silver basket, chrome bell, and brown stitched handlebar grips. Made by Marquis, cream-colored, vintage 5-speed bicycle. She's dearly missed! Thanks, friends :)

rode to work today in a blue skirt and red lips. i don't remember when i ever felt more beautiful.
while her outfiit is rather sub par (t-shirt untucked over a pencil skirt?!), she looks just adorable with that more-than-adorable bike (basket! briefcase! brown leather saddle!).
